FRIES Kunststofftechnik GmbH has been honored with the WorldStar Global Packaging Award 2025 in the transit category for its innovative stacking corner. The globally renowned competition, organized by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), received over 550 entries from around 40 countries this year.
Sustainable transport solution
The award-winning stacking corner is a reusable and recyclable alternative to single-use packaging made of Styrofoam, cardboard, or wood. Made from lightweight plastic, it helps reduce transport energy and features a modular design that extends its service life.
Thanks to the integrated spring, it adapts flexibly to various panel thicknesses. Edge and corner protection, compatibility with tensioning straps, and safe handling due to its smooth surface make the design both practical and user-friendly.
