Guide for plastic buckets
Buckets with UN Approval for Dangerous Goods
If plastic buckets are used for the packaging of dangerous goods, buckets must be tested and show a UN marking. Depending on the transport route and type, the buckets for hazardous goods must comply with different regulations. Please see our Guide for all the important questions and answers about dangerous goods packaging and UN approvals.
Food-safe buckets
Plastic buckets used for food packaging purposes must be food-safe or food-compliant. The food buckets must meet certain legal requirements to ensure that they are not harmful to health. Please see our Guide for all the important questions and answers about food-safe packaging.
Electrically conductive buckets
Electrically dissipative or conductive plastic buckets are used in connection with potentially explosive and flammable substances. The discharging properties of the buckets prevent static charging of the products and, thus, contribute to explosion protection. Please see our Guide for all the important questions and answers about electrically discharging packaging.
